There has been a hold up in production of the website due to a few in-convinces with the domain company that my client is with, but hopefully soon that will be fixed and I can continue production. Ignore the pictures they are irrelevant.
This client is close to me and he asked for a website to be done up in person so there was no recorded event of him asking digitally
This was a photoshoot was done for a local music artist. His is Jericho Frequency mainly his music genre is techno. On the afternoon of the 13/7/2018 I was chilling on my back veranda and all of the sudden a kookaburra fly's up right next to me and just sat there like he wanted me to take photos of him. And well, so I did and heres the out come.
Tuesday the 10th of July, I travelled down to the Cougal Cascades once again to improve and try new photos. It was an early start getting up at 6 am before sunrise to get the most out the day and the time I had. It was a refreshing 11°c so getting the motivation to get out of the car was tough but I had photos to take. It was a nice morning and with the photos I'm super pleased with how they came out and getting up that early was a good choice. Below are some of the photos from the trip and the rest will be displayed in the landscapes tab underneath Portfolio. This is one of the new type of photos I took while I was there. While looking across the area I saw this huge tree fallen with moss growing one it and so I took the opportunity and it turned out to be quite successful.
On the 7th of July I travelled further then the rock pools to the end of the road to reach the Cougal Cascades waterfall. This waterfall is a beautiful sight to seen if your travelling past this part of the coast I recommend a quick stop, that being said I had the opportunity and the privilege that this landmark is only a 20 min drive from where I am so it is easily accessible and I have used that to my advantage. These photos below are only just he first trip around and I plan on revisiting this place again to get more opportunities with the waterfalls. This picture here is the cougal Cascades waterfall with the natural water side at the top half of it.
Below this photo are more photos of downstream white water points making the perfect photo. 22/5/18
Tuesday the 22nd I was given the opportunity to travel down the the Currumbin rock pools and try out some new equipment as well as a new technique. The rig that I was running was a D7100 with a Wide angle and Fish eye lens these lens help me capture what I was going for with my aim for the day. The technique that I was trying out was a long exposure shot meaning that the shutter on the camera would be open for a certain amount of time. The way to do this perfectly is to have a tripod with you at all times so that when the camera is taking the photo it can't be moved and while in the middle of taking the photo it has to be incredibly still any movement to the camera will mess up that photo and you will have to restart. The new equipment that I also got to try out was a drone the DJI Spark, it was definitely a new but thrilling experience. But from what I tried I will definitely be investing more of my time into drone footage and shots. @jamieout His work on instagram has a quality that i'm trying achieve with my work. His artwork has inspired me to get out there and take as many photos until I achieve the standard of photography that the client and I am happy with. @danielkordan Another photography that I admire has some amazing photos of the starry night skies. His work has so much colour and vibrance it really shows the beauty of the world. @daniel_ernst His photography has that feeling and sense that your actually there in that moment. Thats what i'm trying to aim for in my photography, aiming to actually make you feel the moment instead of ponder it. |
